Real Estate is an English term that means immovable property.
The term is used in English-speaking places to refer to the property market.
Keep in mind that real estate includes both land and buildings, natural resources and other improvements found on the property.
Therefore, real estate is used to refer to all activities related to the sale of real estate assets.
In addition, it is possible to distinguish between three categories of real estate:
• Residential: includes unbuilt land, houses, condominiums, etc.
• Commercial: includes non-residential structures such as offices, warehouses or logistics centers, ie income-producing properties.
• Industrial: includes factories, business parks, farms, or mines. These are usually the properties that have the largest extension.
Some historians believe that the origin of this word dates back to 17th century England and that it reflects feudal customs regarding land and property.
In fact, there are those who defend that the term “real” in real estate refers to something that is owned by the “king”, who owned all the land and whose occupants paid to use it.
The real estate market has taken a lot of interest in recent times. So much so, that many investors buy houses or buildings with the sole interest of selling them almost immediately, because prices rise systematically.
The purchase of real estate has become a very lucrative business, but with the terrible consequence that it is becoming more and more inaccessible for the common citizen to buy a house.
In 2008 the world economy crashed when fake assets, subprime real estate mortgages, crashed.
Robert Kiyosaki exposes in his book “Fake: Fake Money, Fake Teachers, Fake Assets: How Lies Are Making the Poor and Middle Class Poorer” that a new crisis is approaching, among other things, driven by the bubble value that the houses, without even making improvements or repairs. They simply pass from one owner to another, increasing their price.
And what is happening with the ownership of internet spaces and the associated cloud services?
In our opinion, the same as with residential real estate.
The prices of services are increasing, motivated by the high demand in terms of business globalization, but also, in a certain way, because it is lucrative for them to pass from one owner to another, without the latter spending more resources on improving the service.
They just improve advertising, but if you don’t know how to or can’t manage those resources with full efficiency, your business based on such services may disappear, when you can no longer afford the ever-rising monthly subscriptions.
Therefore, if your business is starting, invest in your own digital real estate.
The digital real estate is formed by three elements: Ground, Hardware and Energy.
Invest in a small place where the physical elements you need fit.
If you can buy it, it is better than renting. Or use your own home. Be independent as you can.
Consider invest in solar panels. That investment guarantees you even more independence and at the same time helps the environment by spending fewer fossil resources that are depleted.
Comparative prices between cloud hosting and own hosting appear in the FINLAZ book.
Many reasons point to the fact that the value of digital real estate will increase more every day.
